set_thread_area failed error when running 3Ware tw_cli utility

Problem:

When attempting to run the 3ware tw_cli management utility, you receive the following error: 

set_thread_area failed when setting up thread-local storage
segmentation fault

Affected Distributions:

Details:

Newer versions of the tw_cli program are statically linked with a version of the glibc library that is incompatible with the kernel.

Solution:

Install version 3ware-3dm2-rh-32bit-2.03.00.025-1.src.rpm of the 3ware utilities.
