Add or Remove Packages: Package not found
Problem:
You receive the following error when removing one or more packages using the 'Add or Remove Package' tool (system-config-packages):
Package not found
The following package could not be found on your system. Installation cannot continue until it is installed.
Distributions affected:
Fedora Core 4
Details:
The system-config-package tool only works correctly with the packages that are distributed on the original Fedora Core ISO images. If a yum update is performed after installation, the newer package versions will confuse the graphical package manager. The problem will also occur when installing from the ASL Fedora CDs, since they include many updated packages.

Solution:
Use the yum utility.
