Static when using CMI 8738 Sound Card
Problem:
When using CMI 8738 (SC-CM8738-6CH) sound card, moving windows under KDE causes static noises through the speakers.
Distributions Effected:
- Fedora Core 4
- SuSE 9.3
Solution:
Run kmix, select Switches, and disable MIC Boost
