When using Fedora Core 3 or 4 kickstart installation, the hard drives are not detected

Solution

Due to PCI ID duplication between the Marvell and Highpoint controllers, the Marvell driver (mv_sata) can no longer be loaded automatically. Thus it is necessary to add the following line to the top of the kickstart file:

device  scsi  mv_sata
