Installer does not detect onboard Intel PCI-E gigabit
To access the onboard Intel PCI-Express Gigabit Ethernet controller on the Marquis C500 and C510 under Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 Update 1/2 or CentOS 4.1/4.2 during the OS reinstallation, a device driver CD is required. The 32-bit and 64-bit drivers are supplied on separate CD.
The device driver CD is only included on systems purchased with RHEL4 or CentOS 4.X. To request the device driver CD, please send an Email to techsupport@aslab.com and provide the following information:
- Serial number or in the invoice number of the system
- Specify 32-bit or 64-bit version
Note: The device driver disk for RHEL4 is only supported under RHEL4 Update 1 or Update 2. It will not work on the original release. Since CentOS 4.X is based on RHEL4 Update X, the same device driver CD can be used for both operating systems.
