Spurious Machine Check Error (MCE) On Lancelot 1876
Description:
After first booting the Lancelot 1876, executing the mcelog command will generate the following output:
MCE 0 HARDWARE ERROR. This is *NOT* a software problem! Please contact your hardware vendor CPU 4 BANK 8 STATUS ea1fc700008000b0 MCGSTATUS 0
Solution:
This error only occurs once each time the system is booted, and does not indicate a hardware problem.
