3Ware controller is stuck in REBUILD-PAUSED status
Problem:
After replacing a failed disk in a 3ware array, the array remains in the REBUILD-PAUSED state.
Solution:
The 3ware controllers do not start a rebuild immediately after a system is booted in order to give the operating system and applications time to load.
To force the rebuild to start, go to the Management/Scheduling page of 3DM2. Toggle the setting for the rebuild schedule (e.g. click the Follow schedule button, followed immediately by the Ignore schedule button). The rebuild should then start. The rebuild can also be started via the command line:
tw_cli sched rebuild c0 enable tw_cli sched rebuild c0 disable
Replace c0 with the identifier for your controller.
