When adding Seagate 750GB drive, the system hangs during post
When adding Seagate Barracuda 10 or Barracuda ES 750GB drive to a Silicon Image 3114 SATA controller, the system hangs during post. This is a problem with the controller firmware in handling large capacity drives. The symptom might also occur on the 1TB drive.
The issue affects the Marquis K825-T or any ASL model that uses the Silicon Image 3112A or 3114A SATA controller. Currently there is no fix.
