Preinstalled Software:
NPACI Rock Cluster Distribution (32-bit or 64-bit edition) preinstalled and preconfigured. The base installation includes three components, Rock Base (Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3 distribution), HPC Roll (parallel programming tools and utilities including MPICH, Atlas, PVM, PVFS and Ganglia) and a batch scheduler (choice of OpenPBS/Maui or Sun GridEngine Roll). Alternatively, the Intel Roll (Intel C/C++/Fortran compiler suite) can be preinstalled if the compiler is purchased with the cluster.
