With the launch of the Lancelot 1850-A, ASL has met the challenge in delivering a powerful computing solution with a significantly less cost than comparable systems. ASL's experience and expertise in the Linux operating system enables the company to overcome the inherent shortcoming of the new BIOS in supporting the onboard IDE subsystem.

With the introduction of Lancelot 1850-A, ASL continues to follow its company tradition by offering maximized features and performance for an attractive price. The Lancelot 1850-A supports dual Intel Xeon processors up to 2.4ghz, has two-way interleaved DDR 1600 memory support up to 8GB, offers a generous 3.2GB/s system bandwidth, and contains an internal storage capacity up to 480GB. The new system also integrates built-in Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet for network connectivity and offers one full length 64-bit/133mhz PCI-X and one low profile 64-bit/66mhz PCI expansion slots. The chassis includes two 10cm heavy-duty blower fans and copper heat sinks ensuring proper heat dissipation and cooling of the high-speed processors. Other unique feature includes a 400W cold swap power supply and five peripheral drive bays, including a slim CDROM, floppy, and up to three internal Ultra ATA/100 drives. For quick access to the server, the Lancelot 1850-A includes two front accessible USB ports and one RS-232C serial port. Furthermore, the Lancelot 1850-A can be managed locally or remotely through its support for serial console redirection.
