Powered by the Intel E7500 chipset, Lancelot 1850 supports two-way, interleaved DDR200 memory, offering a generous 3.2GB/s bandwidth, and the world's first ultra high speed PCI-X expansion bus. Engineered for thermal stability, the Lancelot 1850 provides efficient heat dissipation to support two Intel PXeon processors in an ultra dense 1U form factor. The Intel Xeon processor, featuring 400mhz system bus, 512K L2 cache, and Hyper-Threading technology can boost system performance for two-way systems by up to 80 percent versus existing Intel platforms.

The chassis includes two 10cm heavy-duty blower fans ensuring adequate cooling of processors, meeting and exceeding Intel specifications. Other unique features include a 400W cold swap power supply and five peripheral drive bays, including three hotswap SCA-2 disk carriers. Lancelot 1850 offers front access to two USB ports and one RS-232C serial port, making this powerful server easier to maintain.
